Accessibility Statement

Last updated September 7, 2026

We want anyone who needs air duct or dryer vent work in Austin to be able to use this website — read the guidance, understand the pricing and book a visit — regardless of how they browse.

Our commitment

DuctXperts is committed to making ductxperts.com accessible to people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as part of building the site properly, not as an add-on, and we fix problems as we find them or as they are reported to us.

The standard we work to

We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These are the guidelines most widely used to judge whether a website is usable by people with visual, hearing, motor and cognitive disabilities.

What we have done

  • Text and background colours chosen to meet contrast requirements
  • A single, clear page heading with a logical heading structure beneath it, so screen readers can navigate the page by section
  • Descriptive alt text on images that carry meaning
  • Visible keyboard focus indicators, so the site can be used without a mouse
  • Descriptive link text rather than "click here"
  • Layouts that reflow on small screens and stay usable when text is enlarged
  • Animation reduced automatically for visitors whose devices request less motion
  • Form fields with proper labels

Known limitations

We would rather name the gaps than pretend they do not exist:

  • Third-party widgets. The Google reviews display and any embedded maps or video are supplied by other companies, and we do not control their markup. If one of them blocks you, call us and we will read the information to you or send it another way
  • Older content. Some images published before we set our current standards may still have weak alt text. We are working through them
  • PDFs and documents shared with customers are not always tagged for screen readers. Ask and we will provide the content in another format

Booking without using the website

You never have to use this website to become a customer. Every service we offer can be booked by phone, and we are happy to take the details and answer questions verbally:

Tell us about a problem

If something on this site is hard or impossible for you to use, we want to know. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do and what got in the way, and we will look at it.

Email info@ductxperts.com or call (512) 656-2116. We aim to respond within one business day, and we will tell you what we can fix and when.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is not a one-off project. As we add pages and change the site we check the new work against the same standard, and we revisit this statement when anything material changes.

Questions about any of this?

Call us and ask. We would rather explain it once than have you guess.
