Terms of Service

Last updated September 7, 2026

These terms apply when you use ductxperts.com or book work with DuctXperts. They set out how estimates and pricing work, what we need from you, and what our services do and do not cover.

Agreeing to these terms

By using this website or booking a service with us, you agree to what is written here. If you do not agree, please do not book — call us instead and we will talk it through.

The services we provide

DuctXperts provides air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, attic insulation, HVAC disinfection, duct replacement, UV light installation and chimney services to residential and commercial properties in Austin and the surrounding Central Texas area. A full list is on our services page.

Estimates and pricing

Every job begins with a free inspection. We open the system, look at its actual condition and quote from what we find.

  • We do not give binding prices over the phone, because system size, the number of runs and the condition we find all change the job
  • The price quoted after the inspection is the price you pay for the work described
  • If we find something during the work that changes the scope, we stop and talk to you before continuing. Nothing is added without your agreement
  • If the inspection shows the work is not needed, we will tell you so

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We book appointments in arrival windows and will tell you if we are running late. To carry out the work we need safe access to the property, the air handler, the attic hatch where relevant and the exterior vent termination.

If you need to reschedule or cancel, let us know as early as you reasonably can so we can offer the slot to someone else. If our team arrives and cannot access the property or the equipment, we may need to rebook the visit.

What we need from you

  • Accurate contact details and service address
  • Safe, unobstructed access to the equipment and work areas
  • Anything you already know about the system — past repairs, known leaks, pest activity, water damage — told to us up front
  • Pets secured while our team is working

Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We will tell you which payment methods we accept when the work is scheduled.

Scope and limitations

So there are no surprises, these are the boundaries of what we do:

  • We clean, disinfect, seal and replace ductwork and related components. We are not acting as your HVAC mechanical contractor for equipment repair unless we have specifically agreed to that work
  • Duct cleaning and disinfection reduce what circulates through a system. They are not a substitute for fixing a moisture problem at its source, and we will tell you when the underlying cause sits outside the ductwork
  • We are not a mold testing or clearance laboratory. Where formal testing is needed we will say so and recommend that you arrange it independently
  • Very old, damaged or improperly installed ductwork can fail during cleaning. Where we see that risk on inspection, we will flag it before starting

Our workmanship commitment

Our commitments on licensing, insurance, pricing and how we carry out the work are set out on the warranty page, which forms part of these terms.

Limitation of liability

We carry liability insurance and our technicians are trained to protect floors, furnishings and equipment while they work. If something goes wrong because of us, tell us straight away and we will deal with it.

To the extent permitted by Texas law, our liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Website content

The text, images, layout and branding on ductxperts.com belong to DuctXperts and may not be copied or republished without permission. Guidance on the site is general information about how these systems behave — it is not a substitute for an inspection of your own property.

Links to other sites

Where we link to another website, we do so because we think it is useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute will be handled in the courts serving Travis County, Texas.
